Matt is a first generation farmer. His drive for the highest quality ingredients comes from 20 years in the restaurant business, and is a driving force behind Early Bird Farm.

His passion for building community around local farms and educating others comes from his 15 years establishing Farm to School lunch programs, and student run gardens in schools around St. Louis.

Early Bird Farm offers hanging baskets and potted flowers, bedding plants, garden starts, culinary herbs and extended seasonal produce.

The community created among us ensures customers connect directly with their grower. Utilizing covered growing spaces on our farm, ensures the highest quality harvests, consistently through the year. Customers can find us at local farmers markets, signup for our email newsletter for wholesale options, shop our online store, and even setup pre orders for quick convenient pickup at market.
